Decree no. 2024-954 of October 23, 2024 on the conditions under which state-qualified nurses may perform the acts and activities mentioned in art. icle R. 4311-11-1 of the Public Health Code by State-qualified nurses, published in the JO of October 25, 2024, sets out a new transitional arrangement enabling State-qualified nurses (IDEs) who do not hold a State-qualified operating room nurse diploma (IBODE) to perform, on an exceptional basis, all the acts and activities specified in article R. 4311-11-1 of the Public Health Code, within operating theatres. This is a major expansion of the 2019 system, since it covers all the procedures initially reserved for IBODEs, and will simplify the management of operating room staff in healthcare establishments
It will come into force on October 26, 2024.
